Vintage 1970's Woman's Psychedelic Max Dress with Hotpants Inset
This is an extremely
rare vintage piece.
This is only the second one of these that I have seen in about thirty
years.
The fabric is much more attractive in person.
The colors are a bit brighter and the fabric has a slight sheen to it.
The full length or maxi 70s dress has a split front and built in hot pants!
The fabric is a shiny beige color. I believe it is acetate. It
has been splattered like a Jackson Pollock painting with an assortment of
colors that are not as dark as the picture indicates.
The fabric is actually brighter and more attractive in person.
Once again the hues of the
colors are prettier in person. Against the beige background are
brown, salmon, lime, mustard dark green and black.
The jumpsuit probably has a today's fit of size 4.
The chest area measures 36"
at the most so it would
probably best fit a 34" chest.
The waist which is meant to be fitted is a small 26".
The hip area is very small measuring only 33". Fabric could probably
be added to the sides to make the hot pants wider.
It has a back zipper.
This is exactly the type of garment that one might see on the TV show,
Swingtown at a summer cocktail or pool party.
The jumpsuit is in mint condition.
This is a piece from your favorite clothing diva's own collection. It
does not look as if it was ever worn.
After wearing dry clean or hand wash, hang dry.
