1970s Polyester Black with White Dots Super Bell Bottom Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit daringly mixes
it up with a lot of pattern going on,
but in person it works.
The waist is high waisted, almost an empire.
It is not as squatty looking
as the photo implies.
I think the length of the whole torso are may make this a petite.
Today this would likely be considered a size 4 petite.
The cut is good for an hour glass figure.
The chest is 36" around so one's chest should be 32" - 34".
The ribcage area is just 27".
The hip or "rear" area is
35", so one's hips need to be smaller than that.
The inseam is approximately 30".
The jumpsuit is made of
double knit polyester. The top is thinner than the black with white
dots fabric.
The collar and cuffs are a pure white polyester crepe.
The bell bottoms are fantastically large.
The jumpsuit is obviously vintage.
The buttons are an orangish
red color. The red in the top of the jumpsuit is not as orangey, but
is a little bit. Not so much in the evening.
The jumpsuit is in excellent condition with no obvious signs of wear.
It can be machine washed and dryed inside out after wearing.
It's perfectly clean now.
